I love the relief of work being done for the week. I love the anticipated chill time with family and friends. I even love when special occasions fall on them too.
We're celebrating big at our house this weekend. Not only Mother's Day but we're going to have a bonafide teenager who officially turns 13 at 1:57 in the afternoon on Friday! Yes that makes this Mother's Day an even sweeter one than usual. Who would have ever guessed I would be a mother of a teenager??!!
We'll start our weekend off at Classic Pizza listening to The Grant and Moe Show with Buddy on bass. Then a day of soccer on Saturday at Blue Springs Soccer and Sunday we'll be enjoying a super tasty lunch at Fire of Brazil by Perimeter Mall. If you've never been to a Brazilian style restaurant it is TOTALLY worth your visit. I promise it is an experience you will never forget!! Go hungry!!
If you're in the area Friday stop in and enjoy some live music along with some pizza and wings. You might even get a slice of birthday cake. Hope to see you there.

ReplyDeleteToday is indeed a most special Friday. It isn't every day that one of the greatest kids I know turns 13...an actual, true life teenager! Hope the entire Mackay family has a spectacular weekend!
