JBE LIVE - Change of Venue

RED ALERT, RED ALERT, JBE FANS!!! Due to circumstances beyond control, the Friday, December 9th gig at Johnny's in Grayson has been MOVED to Johnny's Pizza on Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville! The address is 3375 Sugarloaf Parkway Lawrenceville, GA 30044, just before Five Forks, so plug it into your GPS! Show is planned to start at 7:30 pm and play until 10:30ish or whenever the plug is pulled.  Come support JBE at their new venue tonight!!! Sorry for the short notice but the show goes on!!!

Start the Holiday Season with LIVE Music in Loganville!!

Hard to believe this Friday will be December 1st as we begin the final descent towards the end of 2011.  December has a way of bringing stress to our lives as we prepare for holiday gatherings and celebrations.  Might I suggest you take time this Friday to start the season with some live music from our local musicians! 

Come relax and unwind with laughter, live music and great food at Classic Pizza where it is "Silly Hat Night" brought to you by The Grant and Moe Show with Buddy on Bass.  The trio will be offering their unusual brand of music complete with new tunes and of course, the robust and raucous Gospel Hour set (not for the faint of heart)!  It will be an evening that will be hard to forget.  All the while you can gnosh on the unusual offerings of fried pickles or fried green beans while your pizza is being made just for you.  Fun starts at 7:00pm.

 Follow it up the next weekend with The JBE LIVE at Johnny's Pizza in Grayson, GA from 8:00pm to 11:00pm on Friday, December 9th.  Promising a few Christmas tunes to help get you in the spirit THE JBE always delivers a toe tapping musical experience that is hard to forget.  While you and your friends enjoy the lyrical duet provided by Kevin and Brian you'll find Johnny's garlic knots go great with one of their many craft brews which are available on tap.

FRIDAY!!! That means The Grant & Moe Show W/ Buddy is playing at Classic Pizza and Pub on Hwy 81 in Loganville from 7 to 9. Come join the fun for some good food, drinks music and other shenanigans...Dont forget to tell the hostess with the mostess, Nicki Pritchett, happy birthday!

SATURDAY brings a choice of talent to choose from:

The Picker's Circle at Cowboy's BBQ in Covington.  Located at the Corner of Dixie Road and Hwy 142 East. Next to Liberty Gas station.  You'll find tasty BBQ and Brunswick Stew ready for your tummy to enjoy.  Starting at 4 you'll find a variety of local muso's gathered together sharing their love of music.  Owner, Cowboy Steve Deal say's there's new blood coming this Saturday. "We have a new dobro picker coming all the way from Dallas to play with us."  Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite instrument and join in the fun!!

A bit closer to home, The JBE is LIVE at Johnny's Pizza in Grayson from 8:00 to 11:00.  If you're looking for something a bit closer to home head on out to Johnny's Pizza in Grayson and grab some grub and libations!  James and Brian always bring their A-game to wow their listeners with fun music and twisty takes on classic music.  You'll be tapping your toes and singing along before you know it.  

While you're at Johnny's go ahead and purchase tickets for THE 2ND ANNUAL GRAYSON BLUES AND BREWS FESTIVAL ON SEPTEMBER 24.  More than 150 Craft brews will be available to tease your taste buds all the while being serenaded by Delta Moon, Critical Velocity and The Grant & Moe Show with Buddy on Bass.   Tickets are also available for purchase online through the website and at Hail Mary Pub in Grayson.

Saturday, July 9.  If you're looking for a casual place to play music today pack up your g'tar, blues harp, spoons or kazoo and head out to Cowboy's BBQ in Covington.  Starting at 4pm you will find a number of very talented local musicians gathering to play blues, bluegrass, country, folk and original music.  Cowboy Steve Deal proudly hosts the event while providing some of the tastiest BBQ around. Rumor has it additional seating has been provided for folks who enjoy listening to these fine musico's.

Pitching a Wang Dang Doodle...

That's right folks!  In Loganville tonight at Classic Pizza on Highway 81 (south of Hwy 78 towards Walnut Grove) The Grant & Moe Show with Buddy on Bass are pitching a Wang Dang Doodle from 7 to 11.  Rock 'n Roll, blues as well as their irreverent "Gospel Hour" on display for your fun and amusement while you eat tasty pizza or try out their wings.  

Next week:  Friday, July 15th The James Beard Experiment will be playing at Johnny's New York Style Pizza in Grayson from 8 to 11.  Friendly tunes and tasty pizza will make for a fun evening.

Saturday, July 16th Critical Velocity will be playing at LOCO'S Grill & Pub (3370 Sugarloaf Parkway

Lawrenceville, Georgia) from 9 to 1AM. Playing a mixture of Classic, Southern and Modern rock with just a touch of country music this 5 member band puts on a high intensity show!

Great Live Music Opportunities for Saturday, June 18

 If you're looking for some fun this Saturday check out the Pickers Circle at Cowboy's BBQ in Covington.  An informal gathering of local musicians and tasty BBQ starting at 4pm!!  Bring your guitar, fiddle or kazoo and come join the fun!


Also, Loganville's very own Fester's Farm is playing from 6 - 9 in Snellville during Grill'n on the Green.  Fester's Farm is a five piece Southern Rock 'N Roll band known for its rocking tunes and ability to turn any event into a great big party!  Be prepared to have fun!!

A weekend of Music offerings in and around the 'Ville

There's much happening this weekend in and around Loganville for those who enjoy live and indie music! 

Saturday - Cowboy's BBQ in Covington.  For those who enjoy an informal jam Cowboys BBQ in Covington is hosting their monthly Pickers Circle from 4pm - 9pm.  Bring your guitar, harp, fiddle, drum, spoons or instrument of your choice and jump in whenever you want. Or, just come eat tasty BBQ and listen to some wonderful music.  Oldies as well as original music.  You'll have opportunity to rub elbows with local musicians like Brooks Hunnicut, John Joseph, Robert Thornton Kent, Buddy Jordan, Steve "Moe" Mosley, Grant Mackay to name but a few.  Come hungry!!  (Directions can be found on Cowboy's BBQ website.)

Sunday - Loganville's own Internet Radio Station hounddogradio.net will be hosting their 11th Birthday Bash from 2:00pm through 11:30pm!!  Known for playing a bevy of indie rock and blues music this Sunday is sure to please with live music and lots of fun!!  As the infamous Hound say's, "Tune in, crank it up and yank yer knob off!"
